Greetings!
We are off to a great week this week! Our SPRING MARCHING CAMP will take place Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5-7pm. Parent show off will be Thursday at 6:30pm in the large gym! Come see the first part of the opener (in a very raw form) as well as get details for the upcoming marching season!
PERCUSSION CONCERT TONIGHT! Come cheer on the Percussionists in the Anderson Theater at 7pm as they showcase a variety of solos and ensembles.
Wind Ensemble HONOR BAND RECORDING CONCERT this FRIDAY at the Austin ISD Performing Arts Center – we will perform our entire concert for a recording at 10:30am. Students need to dress in concert black. We would love an audience if you are free and want to come watch and cheer us on.
Next WEEK is our big ANDERSON CITY LIMITS Band Festival. This showcases all the students from Anderson and Murchison in instrument specific choirs playing some fun tunes – come enjoy the atmosphere, EAT TACOS from the Food Truck and Purchase Raffle Tickets! Proceeds from the Taco Sales and Raffle Tickets will go to purchase the music arrangement for this year’s upcoming show!

Saturday, April 28th at Nelson Field. The game starts at 12:00pm but be there in the parking lot ready to play at 11:30pm. We will give out Star Spangled Banner parts during Spring Band Camp. Make sure to bring lyres or any parts that you need to hold music while you play. Also, wear some type of Anderson Trojan Band shirt with any type of bottoms (but keep it appropriate).
