Congratulations to the Anderson Jazz Band for an outstanding performance at the Austin ISD Jazz Festival on Saturday! They received superior ratings from all judges and outstanding soloists recognized were Johnnie McBryde, Sam Bowman, Matthew McHorse and Steven Oh. Way to go to Mr. Cleveland and all our jazz musicians!
ANDERSON CITY LIMITS is THIS TUESDAY, APRIL 24….ONE OF MY FAVORITE EVENTS OF THE YEAR!!! Parents – come out for a festive evening featuring ensemble performances by all sections, both jazz bands and our winter guard!

May 3 ANDERSON BAND SKATE PARTY!!
A generous donor and the Band Boosters are throwing a party for the band to relax and have some fun! Thursday May 3 from 6pm-8pm at Playland Skate Center – there will be drinks and snacks, and feel free to bring your own delicious goodies to add to the mix! All current Trojan Band and Dance Guard members welcome as well as rising 8th graders (next year’s freshmen). Entry is free for all Trojan band students and includes use of skates, skate mates and playscape.

Star Spangled Banner at the Trojan Baseball Game:
Saturday, April 28th at Nelson Field. The game starts at 12:00pm but be there in the parking lot ready to play at 11:30pm.

May 31: GRADUATION – 1pm at Frank Erwin Center. All Non-Senior members of the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band are required to attend to perform as the ‘Graduation Band.’
