Greetings!

Huge congratulations to the Anderson Winterguard for a strong end to their season yesterday with the TCGC Championships in College Station.  They traveled to Texas A&M for the day to compete in Scholastic A, after being promoted to this higher bracket earlier in the season.  It was a very long day but they gave a beautiful final performance of ‘ To Love’ taking 7th place in their division.  Congrats to the guard on a fantastic season!

This week all bands will travel to UIL Concert and Sightreading competition at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center.  A blast with official schedules went out on Friday and I will repost as an additional link today.  Students that have evening UIL band performances may be checked out from the Hays PAC by a parent to travel home separately.  For these arrangements email Ms. Gonzalez no later than Monday evening.

Please come support your child in their UIL performances!  It’s wonderful to have an audience in concert and sight reading cheering us on as we end the very long process of UIL preparation!  It has been a great experience and we look forward to performing on Tuesday and Wednesday!

Leadership materials for the 2017-18 Trojan Band Leadership Team will be distributed April 7.  As directors, we have been deep in the planning process of the 2017 marching show for a few months and we are excited to start to put all of the components together!

Upcoming dates:

April 11:  7pm PERCUSSION CONCERT – AHS Stage

April 13:  5-7pm AHS pre-drumline auditions

April 18-20:  Trojan Marching Band SPRING CAMP 5-7pm
