Band and Dance Guard Parents –

Want to earn some “free” money for Anderson Band and Dance Guard?  Here is easy and painless way to help!  On Saturday August 12th Covert Ford will be at Anderson High School for their annual Ford Test Drive.  It’s an simple and fast way for family members and friends help raise funds for the band and dance guard.

All you need to do is show up at the main parking lot between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on August 12th, fill out a form, and then test drive one of the many Fords available.  For each driver, Anderson will receive $20 from Covert Ford – for up to 300 test drives. So we have the potential to get up to $6,000 for a little bit of your time.

There is no hard sell, and no follow-up call from Ford (unless you request one).  They are there to help, but not push you to buy anything.  If you are lucky, you may even get one of the parent volunteers to ride shotgun  during your test drive.

Requirements: you need to be over 18 and a licensed driver.  One survey per address, so if your already-graduated band alumni happen to be living on campus, they or another family member could use their address as well.  You can also recruit neighbors, friends, and relatives as well to help hit the 300 mark – something we have not done before.

Volunteers needed for Test Drive

Want to help the band/dance guard?  Volunteers needed to help with set up, check in, and riding shotgun for the drive itself.  Need 3-4 volunteers per hour starting at 9am for the set up of the area.  Test drive will occur in the Anderson High School parking lot on the band practice field. Students are welcome to check in drivers, but parents are also needed to accompany the people doing the test drives.
