HAPPY NEW YEAR Trojan Band!
I hope everyone is enjoying the break and has had some much needed rest and rejuvenation!
I wanted to send a brief blast just to get a few things on your radar. It always seems January takes us ALL by storm!
A WORD FROM THE REGION BAND CHAIR REGARDING THE RESCHEDULE OF REGION BAND CONCERT:
We are happy to announce that the Region Clinic and Concert have been scheduled. The new dates are January 5th and 6th. The rehearsal schedule and concert schedule are the same as previously set. We also want to let you know that if you had a student that was not able to participate on the December date or a student that was moved into a group based upon a vacancy, both groups of students will be able to participate. This may increase the size of the Ensembles but is the best way to handle this for the students. All other information previously provided with the EXCEPTION of the date is accurate.
We are going to put together a basketball band to play at the following HOME Games:
January 5 – Boys Basketball Game
January 12 – Girls Basketball Game
Feb 2 – Girls Basketball Game
Feb 13 – Boys Basketball Game
*These are fun pep games. We will get together with as many band members as possible and play pep tunes and cadences.

- January 13 – AREA Auditions at Akins High School
- January 19-20 – All-City Band (participation by nomination)
- January 23 – Austin Symphony (students performing, please make sure you have rehearsals on calendar)
- January 25, 26, 27, 28 MUSICAL
- January 30 – 7pm at Anderson – POPS CONCERT (All Bands – Performance Grade)
