From the directors to the parents and students of the Trojan Band – have a wonderful, restful and relaxing spring break! This time of year is always so fast paced and full of activity so I hope you all get the chance to rest and reflect with your family.

AISD is hosting a Pre-UIL Festival this year for all AISD High Schools in the Performing Arts Center. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come listen if you would like.
- AISD HIGH SCHOOL PRE-UIL FESTIVAL March 21 (Tuesday)
11:30am Anderson Concert Band Performs
12:00pm Anderson Symphonic Performs
12:30pm Anderson Wind Ensemble Performs
Students will be released from class 1 hour before their warm up time and will return to Anderson immediately after the performance/clinic. We will feed all performing students pizza lunch immediately when they return to Anderson.
- WEDNESDAY NIGHT Pre-UIL Concert for Parents 7pm Anderson High School Stage.
Reminders:
Wind Ensemble will have a Monday evening rehearsal March 20 5-6:30pm, and no split sectionals for the week.
Anderson Solo Competition March 23 (Thursday) evening. Mr. Nedley has informed all soloists and pianists of their times. Email Mr. Nedley with questions regarding the Solo Competition! Best of luck to all finalists – we are proud of your preparation!
We want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to Fratelli’s Pizza for donating all of the amazing and delicious pizza for our lock in! If you are in the area, please check them out (for those spring break evenings you don’t want to cook!!) They are located at 10001 Research Blvd #160, Austin, TX 78759. Providing enough pizza for the lock-in was quite the feat! THANKS AGAIN!
