Have Fun! Come Hang Out With the Band!
Looking for a FUN way to get involved with the band and meet your fellow band parents and staff? Sign up as a chaperone! Chaperones ride the buses with the band to and from games and competitions and escort the band from point A to point B. We DON’T do a whole lot of disciplining (the band directors are there for this on the *rare* occasions it’s needed) but we DO get to do a lot of getting to know the kids and handing out snacks! (Pro Tip: they LOVE Hi-Chews) The kids are FUN to be around and the events are FUN! Did we mention it’s FUN??
This year, the band is traveling to St. Louis to participate in the Bands of America Super Regional Competition! Space on the chartered buses and chaperone event tickets are limited so this event will only be open to experienced chaperones. If you’re interested in traveling with the band to this exciting event, make sure to sign up to chaperone games this year!
