Solo and Ensemble KUDOS~
This past weekend we had many of our Anderson Band students participate in the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest at Bowie as well as Anderson’s local Solo and Ensemble Contest. We are very proud of all of the students’ hard work and dedication to becoming better musicians. We would like like to congratulate Jonathan Churchett, Liam Gompf, Philippe Papa, Bridegette Abbott and Mary White for advancing to the State UIL Solo And Ensemble Contest at UT in May.
In addition, The following students were picked by judges to advance to the 2nd annual Anderson Solo contest on March 23: Haven Erengil, Eri Inaba, Supriti Parajuli, Zoe Snead, Tessa Goeser, Jess Rugely, Steven Oh, Viveca Holman, Will Sztejnberg, David Poor, John Hernandez, Liam Gompf, Jonathan Churchett, Amy McPherson, Phillipe Papa, Bridgette Abbott, Mary White, Rachel Snead, David Oh, and Bennett Stirton.
