Greetings Trojan Band Fans!
Tonight is our big Taco Shack Bowl! It’s going to be a great evening and we hope you come out to support our Anderson family of band, football, belles and cheer! If you are wanting to come to the game tonight – you will want to get there early as parking is tricky in the ACC/House Park area. If you are trying to gauge the evening, arrive around 7:15 (find the band parents for a friendly face – they usually sit toward the top near the band). Get to know other parents and meet new people! Cheer on our fabulous football team and then shout loud for us at halftime!
Please know your students will be getting snacks and water on the bus ride – resist the urge to bring them concession stand food while they are in the stands. When we have our formal uniforms we want great habits in the stands to keep them clean before we go on the field. All students ride the bus to and from the game….you may not pick up your student from the game and drive them home without prior arrangements and clearance from a director. This is how we can quickly and efficiently move 215 kids – by keeping our systems consistent!
We will prompt students to text you and we will send a remind message when we pull out of the parking lot at House Park. If you are picking up your student at the end of the night, buses will drive around back and our big blue 18 wheeler will need to pull through our parking lot and back into the loading dock to unload. Please park in the faculty parking and do not block the drive way so the trailer can pull through. If you are waiting for your child and can spare a hand or two to help unload that would be greatly appreciated! The sooner we are unloaded the sooner we can all go home!
If you are in need of an extra or replacement wire frame for your yard sign – there is a box in the band hall under the front table – take one home. Thank you so much to our wonderful sign committee for their work in ordering those yard signs! They look great!
